Our Pre-Apprenticeship Programs are designed to give you the skills and knowledge to hit the ground running in your chosen trade and impress your new employer. The Certificate I and II qualifications are aimed at candidates seeking to enter the workforce or to change careers.
The courses can be undertaken in various delivery models including our VET in Schools and Pre-Apprenticeship Bootcamps, but all contain both theory and practical training and assessment. For more information on each course, click the links below.
For eligible participants, funding is available for these programs through the State Government Certificate III Guarantee and VETiS Funding Programs. For more information on funding and eligibility, see our Funding Page.

Our Pre-Apprenticeship Bootcamp Programs are designed to give you the right level of skills and knowledge to impress an employer and hit the ground running in an entry-level position.
How long is the course going to take?
It depends on the course and the structure, but generally between 3 – 10 weeks.
Does bootcamp give you a certificate?
Yes, depending on which bootcamp course you undertake, you will receive either a level I or II Certificate.
Can I do a bootcamp while working?
Yes,
What is the point of a pre apprenticeship?

Are my qualifications nationally recognised?

Do I need an employer before commencing a pre-apprenticeship bootcamp?
No you do not require an employer.
Will completing the bootcamp guarantee me a job?
No, while it will help you gain valuable skills and knowledge, we can not guarantee that you will get a job. It will certainly increase your chances though.
Is there any minimum or maximum age requirements?
You must be a minimum of 15 years old to undertake one of our bootcamp courses.
Can I do online training?
No, we currenlty do not have this as an option.
Can I get funding to pay for my pre-apprecnticeship course?
Yes, Certificate 3 Guarantee funding is available to eligible participants.
