Your Apprentice can do as much training at work as you can manage. We will work with you to establish which study units they will be able to be assessed on in the workplace, depending on what type of jobs you do and the range of tasks they are exposed to. Generally, there are some units that they will need to come into college for, be we try and keep this to the minimum.

Yes, it is a requirement for you to allow your student to have access to a trainer for training and assessment purposes. We understand, however, that we need to be as flexible as possible and work in with your business needs. We will give you options for workshop dates and trainer visits to help reduce the impact of your Apprentice undergoing training and assessment.
Absolutely! Take advantage of downtime and our trainers will work with your apprentice to complete training and assessment activities at the campus. We welcome your apprentice to come to campus as often as you like.
Our Trainers are here to support your Apprentice. They are experienced with working with a broad skills range and a variety of learning needs. You can be confident that your Apprentice will get all the help they need.
There are a range of government incentives for taking on an apprentice. Currently both the State and Federal Governments are committed to supporting Apprenticeships and employer incentives are currently substantial. We can put you in contact with an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) provider to help you understand what incentives are available to you.

Taking videos and photos of your apprentice undertaking tasks on site will be a great help to your Apprentice and could benefit you by reducing the amount of time our Trainers need to spend with your Apprentice.
The training plan will be provided to you as soon as your apprentice is registered with the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT)
