Become a Qualified Contract Administrator
This course will give you the technical qualifications you need to apply for various building licences through the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC).
This program is designed to meet the needs of contract administrators in the building and construction field who may have responsibility for the processing of subcontractor claims and preparation of head and subcontracts for building and construction works.

We are able to offer three delivery options to fit around your current work and family commitments – please choose from one of the three following options or a blend of all three. Participants must be committed to progress using these delivery options.
1. Virtual Classroom held each Monday and / or Tuesday evening 5.30 pm – 8.30 pm online with one of our experienced trainers.
2. Face to Face Training held each Wednesday and / or Thursday evening 5.30 pm – 8.30 pm at our Currumbin campus.
3. Self-paced online.
Choose one or a blend of all three.
Participants in this program are required to be currently employed in the construction industry and hold a Certificate III trade qualification or equivalent.
Participants must be committed to attending face-to-face masterclasses either at the Currumbin Campus or via Zoom Virtual Classroom.
What do I need as a student….
- Laptop
- Microsoft Office Suite plus Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Industry experience – minimum 2 – 4 years depending on trade and supervisory experience
- Device for photographs
- Access to printer and internet
- Textbook (ebook or hardcopy) to be purchased

- Depending on the qualification or licence you require.
- If your training is subsidised by CSQ.
- If you are eligible for the CSQ funding.
- If funding is available at your time of enrolment.

This course enables the students to further their studies into higher AQF level e.g. Diploma of Building and Construction (Building)

The employment pathways offered by completing this program include:
- Construction supervisor (the units required by QBCC to gain a Site Supervisor licence are included in this program)
- Builder restricted to kitchen, bathroom and laundry installation
- Builder Low Rise
- Construction Manager
