This course will give you the technical qualifications you need to apply for various building licences through the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC).
This qualification reflects the role of builders, site managers and managers of small to medium-sized building businesses who plan and supervise safe building and construction work, prepare and administer contracts, and who apply quality principles to building and construction projects.

CPCCBC4002 (Recording) Manage work health and safety in the building and construction workplace
CPCCBC4007 Plan building or construction work
CPCCBC4008 Supervise site communication and administration processes for building and construction projects
CPCCBC4009 Apply legal requirements to building and construction projects
CPCCBC4010 Apply structural principles to residential and commercial constructions
CPCCBC4012 Read and interpret plans and specifications
CPCCBC4014 Prepare simple building sketches and drawings
CPCCBC4018 Apply site surveys and set-out procedures to building and construction projects
CPCCBC4021 Minimise waste on the building and construction site
CPCCBC4053 Apply building codes and standards to the construction process for Class 2 to 9, Type C Buildings
CPCCBC4005 Produce labour and material schedules for ordering
CPCCBC4006 Select, procure and store construction materials for building and construction projects
CPCCBC4017 Arrange resources and prepare for the building and construction project
CPCCBC4052 (Recording) Lead and manage teams in the building and construction industry

CPCSUS4002 Use building science principles to construct energy efficient buildings

BSBPMG426 Apply project risk management techniques
We are able to offer three delivery options to fit around your current work and family commitments – please choose from one of the three following options or a blend of all three. Participants must be committed to progress using these delivery options.
1. Virtual Classroom held each Monday and / or Tuesday evening 5.30 pm – 8.30 pm online with one of our experienced trainers.
2. Face to Face Training held each Wednesday and / or Thursday evening 5.30 pm – 8.30 pm at our Currumbin campus.
3. Self-paced online.
Choose one or a blend of all three.
Participants in this program are required to be currently employed in the construction industry and hold a Certificate III trade qualification or equivalent.
Participants must be committed to attending face-to-face masterclasses either at the Currumbin Campus or via Zoom Virtual Classroom.
