VETiS courses offered by Gold Coast Trades College
Further information on VETiS
Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VETiS) is the delivery of nationally recognised qualifications to school students, providing them with the skills and knowledge required for specific industries.
VETiS can be undertaken in years 10, 11 and 12, and can count towards the Queensland Certificate of Education.
VET can also be undertaken while a young person is still enrolled at school through a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship (SAT).
For detailed information, please click here for the Queensland Government training site.
All Queensland secondary school students in Years 10, 11 and 12 can access VET within any recognised qualification across a range of industries in a school environment; however VET investment funding can only be used for those qualifications identified as employment stream qualifications.
