Course Overview

The CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling provides skills to cut, lay, and finish tiles for a wide variety of surfaces. Apprentices gain knowledge of modern waterproofing, adhesives, and finishes.

Key skills include:

  • Laying ceramic, porcelain, stone, and mosaic tiles
  • Cutting and shaping tiles to fit spaces
  • Waterproofing preparation and application
  • Applying grout and finishes
  • Reading and working from plans and specifications

Duration: 3–4 years as an apprenticeship
Delivery: On-the-job and structured training at campus
Entry Requirements: Must be employed as a wall and floor tiling apprentice with a signed training contract
