Course Overview

The CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering provides apprentices with the skills to apply and finish plaster, render, and decorative surfaces. Training includes traditional plastering as well as modern finishes.

Key skills include:

  • Applying cement render and decorative finishes
  • Installing cornices, mouldings, and ornamental features
  • Restoring and repairing plaster surfaces
  • Using hand and mechanical tools effectively
  • Working to Australian building standards and codes

Duration: 3–4 years as an apprenticeship
Delivery: Workplace training and structured campus sessions
Entry Requirements: Must be employed as a solid plastering apprentice with a signed training contract
